Unveiled in 2008 following a winning national competitionе.  Тhe equestrian statue of Tsar Kaloyan is located in Varna. The monument features a bronze figure of Tsar Kaloyan mounted on a horse, placed on a pyramidal pedestal. Each side of the base is decorated with reliefs depicting scenes from his reign. The total height of the composition is 8.1 meters. The monument is dedicated to one of Bulgaria’s medieval rulers and is situated in a public space in the city
