Unveiled in 2025, this monument honors the legendary Bulgarian weightlifting coach Ivan Abadjiev. Located in the center of Novi Pazar, his hometown, the sculpture pays tribute to his groundbreaking training methods and the numerous Olympic and world champions he coached. Known as the “Father of Bulgarian Weightlifting,” Abadjiev remains a national icon in Bulgarian sports history.
