In the courtyard of “Aleko Konstantinov” Secondary School in Velingrad stands a life-sized bronze statue of the renowned Bulgarian writer, public figure, and traveler Aleko Konstantinov. The sculpture captures his dignified presence and calm expression, blending harmoniously with the school’s green surroundings. The statue was unveiled in 2025 and is not only a tribute to the legacy of “The Lucky Man,” but also a lasting source of inspiration for future generations.
