Built after winning a national competition, the statue was unveiled in 2012. It depicts the great Bulgarian social psychologist with a bicycle—an emblem of his tireless travels across the country. Through these journeys, he gathered observations and insights that became the foundation of his most famous work, “The Everyday Life and Spirit of Our People,” a cornerstone in Bulgarian cultural and sociological thought.
